St Anne/St Philip Neri Retreat 2010

Our Senior High Youth Group Meets twice monthly on Sunday nights immediately following the Teen Mass until 8:30 PM.  It is open to all teens in 9-12 grade.  This group exists as a social, spiritual, and faith formation group geared to help teens know Jesus Christ and take Him to others.  A variety of topics are addressed at youth group meetings.  9th graders need to participate in this group in order to fulfill their 1st year of Confirmation training.  The group also participates in off-site activities, including Mission Trips, service projects, Catholic Youth Conferences, a ski trip, and other fellowship building events.  All teens, confirmed or not, are welcome and encouraged to attend through 12th grade.   We are also eagerly seeking adults and young adults to help with our youth group.  Contact Dawn Fitzpatrick at 329-2662 Ext. 5 or at dfitzpatrick@saintanne.com  with any questions.

Please join us to in the ice cream and treats booth to support our parish!  We need teens to “person” the booth from 5-11 PM on Friday September 9 and 12PM – 9PM on Saturday September 10th.

Confirmation News: Here is what is coming up, leading to our most blessed celebration…

Parent and Candidate Meeting for those ready to prepare for Confirmation this year:  Sunday September 11 10:40 AM in the Teen Room.
This meeting is for those in 10th grade and older, who participated regularly (at least 60% of the time) in our youth group last year and/or attended Catholic High School last year.   A complete schedule including dates of meetings, all requirements and  fees will be provided at this meeting.  Please call Dawn in the office if you have questions.

Confirmation Discernment Retreat — Saturday October 8; 9:30 – 6:00  CAMP THUNDERBIRD
This is the first “official” requirement (after the parent/candidate meeting).   This retreat is for those registered for Confirmation II
